WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND?


Networking: This event provides an opportunity for small businesses to network with government subject matter experts and large prime contractors. Small businesses can meet potential mentors and explore opportunities and new initiatives in the development and commercialization of SBIR technologies.

Expert Speakers: Small businesses, government acquisition and technology professionals, prime contractors and academic researchers will enjoy a fast-paced, engaging program. Our distinguished lineup of speakers includes Reza Rofougaran, the co-founder of Movandi. Mr. Rofougaran and his sister sold Innovent Systems, a company they co-founded in 1998, to Broadcom for more than $450 million in 2000. Mr. Rofougaran was a principal investigator for two SBIR contracts.

Matchmaking: During matchmaking sessions, small businesses can meet key personnel from government and industry who support the DoD SBIR, Rapid Innovation Fund (RIF) and Mentor-Protégé programs.

MATCHMAKING



If you plan to host or participate in matchmaking, you will be sent an email with instructions on how to schedule matchmaking sessions. Small businesses can schedule up to five 10-minute matchmaking meetings. Requests for matchmaking meetings are accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis.
